The final trip meeting is May 5th at 7:00 pm at Carriel Junior High in the cafetorium.  This is a mandatory meeting and the student traveling should be accompanied by an adult.  Trip details will be discussed. 

*ATTENTION PARENTS*

The final two meetings for the class trip to Washington D.C. have been set.  

There will be a parent meeting on Tuesday, March 22nd at 7:00p.m. at Fulton Jr. High in the main gym.  Final invoices will be passed out at this meeting.  Please do not make any final payments to the touring company until you receive and verify that your final invoice is correct.  Any discrepancies in the amount of hours or dollars your child has earned/received should be immediately reported to our treasurer, Shane Brown dkbpsb@earthlink.net Any disputes must be reported by the end of the day on Friday, March 25.  If you cannot make this meeting, invoices will be handed to the student at school on Wednesday, March 23.  For those travelers that are due a refund (not to exceed the trip cost – not including insurance), checks will be made out in the name of the student and passed to them at school.  This is no guarantee, but we expect refund checks to be handed out before the trip date.  Students who still owe a portion of their trip need to make their final payments to the touring company in a timely fashion.

Carriel Scrip Information

There are no more scrip order opportunities available to benefit your current 8th grade student.  If you would like to continue receiving Scrip order notices, or if you have a 5th grader that will be moving to Carriel next school year, PLEASE send me an email with your email contact information, name of your 5th grader, and your contact phone number.  The next scrip order information will be sent out early in March, with once-a-month orders being processed until the beginning of the new school year in August. 
 
I will be updating the Carriel Scrip order groupings and if I do not have an email reply from you, I will assume that you do not have a need to continue with the program.  I will need to have your future order participation confirmation by Tuesday, March 1
 
All Scrip order balances have been forwarded to the Carriel treasurer and that information should be supplied to you for your 8th grade trip information.  I do not have any additional information about how these balances are applied to your individual account.

Carriel Scrip Order

Due to the inclement weather and the school closure, the scrip order will be due on the day the students return.  In other words, if Carriel is open on Thursday, February 3, the scrip orders would be due by 3:00 p.m. that day..  Please turn the order in at the Main Office!
